Can you work out the sequence of moves needed to release the red block from the game board?

How do you play Anti-Virus?

Select a challenge from the booklet and setup the game board with the pieces specified. The coloured piece are designed to slide on the board whereas the white pieces are stationary blockers.

Then its time to slide the pieces to release the red piece through the gap in the corner of the game board. The pieces slide smoothly on the board and have a pleasing dimple in the top (great for fingers). What’s different is that the pieces slide diagonally and this adds a challenge to the puzzle that makes you think differently.

The levels increase in difficulty. This game is self-checking. Once you’ve released the red piece you know you’ve found the solution.

While the age range says 8+ it is certainly achievable by some younger players and is a good one for adults too.

THINKercise tip: To pack it away fully (with pieces and booklet secured) the original box needs to be used. The easiest way to do this is to turn the box-lid upside down.

What can you learn?

- spatial visualisation
- planning ahead and strategy
- lateral thinking

THINKercise twists

Try to solve the challenge in your head before you move any pieces.
