Pentago Compact
Pentago Compact
Five in a row with a twist (literally)
Put your spatial visualisation to the test in this two player game.
Can you make five-in-a-row before your opponent?
Great for all ages and for cross age competition.
How do you play Pentago?
It's a quick setup. You take the lid off the game board, pick your colour and you're ready to go.
Players take it in turns placing a piece and then rotating one quadrant of the game board by 90 degrees.
The first player to make 5 in a row is the winner. It such a simple game but the complexity added by the twist of the board is amazing.
When playing with my 6 year old he would often turn the board and produce 5 in a row. I couldn't see it coming.
What can you learn?
- spatial visualisation
- planning ahead and strategy
THINKercise twists
- Can you recognise danger patterns to look out for?
- try to win in a way where you can't lose (ie there is no way for your opponent to block you).

Want a closer look?
Sometimes it can be helpful to have a closer look.
I love to show these items (in person or online) so that you can choose whether they're right for you.
Its not a pushy salesy conversation but a chance for you to ask questions and see what you're getting in action. That's always helpful.
